The opportunity
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Leads, motivates and manages the IT Strategy and Architecture (S&A) team, ensuring a culture of high performance, comprising of Solutions Architects,
- Responsible for ensuring that ITs vision to be “the firm’s Technology partner - providing sustainable services that enable the business strategy” is delivered, within the operating and design principles agreed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to align strategies with business needs
- Provide technical guidance on IT security to ensure solutions are architected and designed in line with company IT security policies
- Balance current and new architecture design and solutions in line with resources (people, budget and capability constraints) in the context of competing business demands.
- Implement technology architecture to align with enterprise standards, processes, procedures, and targets
Skills we can't do without
- Excellent leadership skills – Snr Manager level
- Ability to work under pressure as well as result-oriented
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills
- Technically creative and open-minded
- High attention to detail
Skills we'd like
It would be great if you have the following skills, too:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution
- Min 10 years of architectural experience
- Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
