Worldline Greece is one of the largest acquiring services companies in the Greek market which was established as part of the new strategic partnership between Eurobank and Worldline.
The Opportunity
Currently, we are looking for a Junior Product Owner to join our acquiring product team. You are our ideal candidate if you have a successful track record in doing product management in a corporate environment, preferably with payment experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build a market vision, and define related strategic product roadmap for the coming years.
- Analyze the external environment to provide actionable insights for the purpose of continuous improvement, identifying new requirements and markets and building competitive advantage. Influence market and clients through our own thought leadership
- Understand and speak the language of the market and produce products with real market value and potential to drive revenue and margin. Help salespeople position products accordingly in the eyes of the customer
- Maintain the entire life cycle of products. Oversee the development of new products and the continuous improvement of the existing products in line with Worldline’s sustainability goals is our purpose. Interact with many stakeholders - clients, sales, Ι.Τ. , strategy, … - to facilitate the prioritization process
- Create innovative solutions in the most effective way, in line with our commitment to modern architectural practices, optimizing components-based global industrialization, whilst retaining our ability to deliver locally. (Glocal)
- Support the execution of sales process (communication, documentation, training). This includes the production of content, the presentations of the product to the sales organization, and the support of this organization to ensure the good positioning of the Product
- Manage timely execution of pilots, and collaborate with the project team to ensure progress and resolve issues
- Ensure the pricing of the product is constructed with the support of the Marketing and the Pricing team. Manage profitability of own product set (multiple components). Understand usage/ revenues and costs associated. Report on them to portfolio management.
- Get/use input from specific merchants and quantify the merchant business
- Articulate, monitor and provide insight into drivers of the product component objectives, KPIs, USPs, etc
- Define and submit business specs for new projects to the I.T.
- Stakeholder management:
- Manage timely execution of pilots, and collaborate with the project team to ensure progress and resolve issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization, including senior management
Who Are We Looking For

- 1 year of work experience in a similar role in a multinational company
- University Degree in Business, Marketing or related functions
- Excellent in spoken and written use of English language
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel)
- Experience in the payment industry would be an asset
- Ability to analyse data with a creative approach
- A team player with strong organizational and planning skills
- Interest in and knowledge of digital trends
- Experience of working in a dynamic environment
