The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Owner eCommerce. We have many hardworking and dedicated peers that would love for you to work with them. We are committed to continuous improvement. Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

  • Responsible for the lifecycle of the assigned product and its services (content, package)
  • Contribute with the other Product Owners to the Products’ roadmap and development based on market needs, competition and company’s directions
  • Own and execute the product roadmap.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements and expectations of related stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, teams and customers to co-develop the product vision, strategy, and for Product Roadmap alignment.
  • Provide the voice of the business to cross-functional product teams to: clarify feature, user story and content requirements and translate the product vision into a roadmap/release plan and actionable tasks.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional agile teams and various stakeholders including business and functional leaders, key users, business analysts, solution architects, UX/UI designers, software engineers, testers, C/X etc.
  • Continuously revisit the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure that a new product in development or a new feature of an existing product, is proven to be desirable, viable and functional.
  • Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
  • Analyse preferences and requests of end users
  • Keep track of industry trends
  • Act as Evangelist of the assigned Product

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Product Owner ideally focused on FinTech Industry
  • Product development experience with one or more of: Payment Gateways, Online Checkout solutions, OmniChannel solutions, advanced eShops, m-commerce, e-commerce in general, etc.
  • Experience in digital product development lifecycle from ideation, insight to launch and aftermarket support
  • Strong experience in understanding the customer needs (customer outcomes orientation) when it comes to digital solutions and scoping them in an efficient manner
  • Proficiency in authoring, owning and prioritizing epics, features, user stories, backlog grooming, prioritization, sprint planning and release management activities
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Understanding of all aspects of Agile/Kanban product development and delivery
  • A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing and often conflicting priorities
  • Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with emerging technologies
  • Winning attitude, self motivation, excellent teamwork and presentation skills
  • Communication skills and flexibility necessary to work with collocated/remote and cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience and knowledge of the Fintech industry strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage work time to ensure the accomplishment of specific goals
