The Identity Trust & Authentication (ITA) Service Center, with its presence in several European countries, including a significant operation in France, specializes in designing, implementing, and hosting payment applications that utilize various multi-channel authentication methods. As a member of the ITA team, you will play a crucial role in the payment ecosystem, working within the ACS component. Specifically, you will be part of the Deliveries team, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects directly to our end customers.

As a Change and Release Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and improving the processes for the development, deployment, and release of changes into relevant acceptance and productive environments. You will work with the Development team, Project Managers, and Production Services to ensure the correct and consistent data is provided to the Change and Release Management processes. You will ensure the change and release policy and processes are adhered to in the release of all changes into all environments excluding Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and maintain activities for the development and deployment of changes into relevant environments
  • Track status of all change requests and release implementations, and gather information
  • Analyse and understand any impacts, including scheduling risks, of all projects that introduce change to production environments
  • Mediate conflicts regarding scheduling, lack of approval or documentation prior to implementation of change
  • Ensure process, procedure, and work instruction documentation for Change and Release Management activities are correct and up-to-date
  • Distribute change and release schedules and pipelines within agreed timeframes
  • Communicate technical change and release activities and impact to relevant stakeholders
  • Produce and distribute weekly change and release meeting minutes
  • Provide regular, robust, and accurate reporting on change requests and release including exception reporting on high impact, aborted, and unauthorized changes to identify process deficiencies and adverse trends in change and release practices and implementation of change
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Involvement in the functional workstream Run with two Business Service Managers and the functional lead for that area, help to ensure that incident and problem are managed correctly by Production Services, customers stakes really taken into account, and proactive actions to increase quality of service

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT-Service-Management
  • Exposure to and understanding of Project Management methodologies
  • Knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies and their practical applications in supporting business requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – able to communicate technical information to the understanding of a layperson
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – able to influence and persuade, is comfortable championing processes across multiple user groups, adjusts style to needs of audience
  • Sound relationship management skills – able to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong organizational skills – able to prioritize and effectively manage competing demands without any loss of quality or service
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Professional Memberships:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification, or a good appreciation or equivalent market experience
  • ITIL Release, Control and Validation certificate is preferred but not essential
  • A tertiary qualification in Business Management is preferred but not essential
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position
