The opportunity

You will work closely with the rest of Scheme Economics team on pricing- and cost related analytics and synergy projects and co-operate with other departments across the organization, such as Scheme Management, Sales and Product to support the achievement of our goals and objectives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Driving revenue and protect our profitability through transaction/acquiring processing economics-related projects across the full Worldline Merchant Services organization
- Identifying opportunities and synergies by analyzing billing of Scheme fees (Visa/MasterCard) and Interchange (card issuer fees), identifying drivers and ensuring cost recovery (billing/invoicing) and cost avoidances actions.
- Cooperating broadly with other departments to achieve and steer our objectives, incl. Product, Acquiring Technology, Scheme Management, Business Controlling, Sales, Payment Partnerships and more.
- Being a go-to person for questions from the organization around synergy projects and scheme invoices.
You may also occasion:
- Provide support in delivering reporting activities both internally and externally
- Support or provide analytical input for new/revised price models or product pricing setup
- Support Sales/Pricing managers in discussions with existing merchants regarding transaction cost drivers and fee updates
- Be involved from an analytical standpoint in price model fee implementation processes on our acquiring platforms and systems
- Support network fee impact calculations on our merchant portfolio for repricing purposes when new fees are introduced
- Ensure accurate transaction cost components in Pricing tools and other models
Skills we can't do without:
- Full proficiency in English
- Degree in business management, economics or other related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- You have advanced Excel skills and feel comfortable enough with making PowerPoint presentations to communicate your findings when needed
- You have sophisticated organization and time management skills to coordinate your work and drive projects with others
- You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- You can work effectively in a team as well as independently
- You’re a self-starter with drive and a getting-things-done attitude
Skills we'd like:
It would be great if you have the following skills, too:
- Experience with tools such as SQL, BI, VBA, Power Query etc. is great but not a must
- Payments industry experience, preferably with schemes or previous knowledge of scheme fees, interchange and/or acquiring pricing would be amazing but not a must
- You strive for ongoing professional development and learning
