Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Participate on audit preparation and planning
- Execution of the audit missions within the IT & Operations audit domain (eg within incident management, change management, business continuity, disaster recovery, governance, security for network applications…)
- Add value to the audit team by expanding knowledge, sharing knowledge
- Perform ad-hoc missions (e.g. investigations, incident reviews, etc.) on request
- Responsible for the continuous monitoring and follow-up of audit action closure
- Responsible for managing internal audit projects and initiatives which aim to continuously improve the audit process
- Keep up to date with all important related trends with regards to information technology, security, regulatory requirements, risk management, etc.
Your profile
- 2 to 4 years of experience as an internal or external auditor in IT operations
- Experience in a payment card industry or financially regulated entity is an advantage
- University degree: Engineer/IT and/or Business School
- Experience in a big four company, internal audit department, business/IT operations or security operation in a financial industry with external/internal audit interaction
- Proven certifications in Security or IT audit are an added value, but not mandatory (e.g. CISA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, Prince2, PMP, CMII, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of auditing concepts with relevant experience or strong business knowledge and experience.
- Knowledgeable in any data analysis techniques and tools (e.g. ACL).
- Knowledge of technical security, operating systems, databases, networking, datacenter infrastructure and of new trends in these domains (e.g. cloud security, software engineering, source code management, cyber security, project management, encryption, cryptography, etc.) is a nice to have, but not necessary
- Knowledge of key security standards (ISO 27001, PCI, NIST, EBA, etc.) is a plus
- Open minded, team working, flexible, interest for an international exposure
- Analysis & synthesis capabilities, rigorous approach
- Good reporting skills (oral and written)
- Strong willingness to learn
- Fluent in English and/or German. Another European language (e.g. French/Dutch) is an advantage but not essential
