At Worldline, our business growth goes hand in hand with people excellence. Therefore, we have a strong local HR team, based in Brussels. This local team is responsible for driving organizational & operational efficiency for HR Operations in Belgium. They harmonize HR Operations practices on country level through a common framework (processes, tools, deliverables). Next to being accountable for all national regulatory and social dialogue, they are also responsible for local Payroll and HR Admin services and the HR data quality within the country.
As Head of HR Belgium, you are accountable for HR employees services, Social Relations, Learning and Development and Compensations and Benefits (for approximately 1500 employees) . You work closely with the team manager of Employee Services and the other specialists in your team. You work in a complex matrix organization and will need to align with different Global Business Lines.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Belgian HR Team (comp&ben, training, social relations, employee services and payroll), based on Worldline’s vision
- Manage the social relations, drive national regulatory and social dialogue (Works Council,...) based on country recommendations
- Be the referent on HR-related topics such as Onboarding/Offboarding, Payroll, HR policies and processes, HRIS, etc
- Ensure the strict compliance to labour laws and internal processes
- Manage internal local HR communications with the sponsors and key stakeholders
- Lead internal communications for all People topics
- Foster collaboration and interaction with the HRBP’s and Global HR Centers of Excellence
- Facilitate HR Projects to make sure these projects are delivered on time
What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in a relevant business field;
- 10-15+ years of experience as an HR Specialist or Manager, preferably in an international context and in a constantly evolving environment;
- Fluency in French, Dutch and English is required;
- Prior experience in leading the social dialogue, and in depth knowledge of works councils and unions;
- Confirmed team management and project management experience;
- You are hands-on, able to multitask and prioritize your daily workload, but you are also accurate and meticulous with everything you do;
- Excellent listening and communication skills, capacity to influence at all levels;
- Ability to foster collaboration;
- Strong process skills;
- Proactive in solutions building, autonomous & reactive;
- Resilience and ability to handle high level company interest and high-paced company growth;
- Cope with stress and pressure;
- Ability to handle complex situations in a Matrix organization;
- Analytical and target oriented.
