The Opportunity

As a Test Engineer for Android Point of Sale (POS) systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Android-based POS software and hardware solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the Android POS system. You will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to identify test requirements and drive the testing process from inception to delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Test Execution: Execute test cases, log defects, and verify bug fixes to ensure the stability and functionality of the Android POS system across different devices and environments.
• Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and other testing-related information in a clear and organized manner.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance team members, to ensure smooth communication and effective testing processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the testing process and enhance product quality.
• Feedback: Provide feedback on the usability, functionality, and overall quality of the software.

Who Are We Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree may be preferred.
• Proficiency in software testing methodologies, test design, and test execution and have Baisc knowledge
• Basic knowledge on Automation is required.
• Understanding of software testing methodology  
• problem-solving and analytical skills to identify defects and issues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document test results.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) may be a plus.
• A commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging testing tools and techniques.
