The Opportunity
The Risk Products Project Manager will report to the Risk Products and VAS Lead, within the department of 1st Line Risk (that include Fraud, AML, KYC, Credit and PCI). The main task of the Risk Products and VAS team is to manage the tooling for the whole department (internal and external), identifying gaps, new revenue opportunities and harmonizing processes to make savings. Worldline has been very active in acquiring new companies, therefore the ever-changing landscape also requires flexibility, elasticity of thought and ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexity.
About the team
The team is sitting within the 1st Line Risk of our Merchant Services business line. Our main objectives are that all our stakeholders (Fraud, AML, KYC, Credit and PCI) can benefit from the most adequate tools in order to best carry out their activities, that the 1st Line Risk has all the checks and controls in place dictated from the 2nd Line and that our merchants (our clients) can turn to Worldline for any risk tool they might need to conduct their business, making Worldline more and more similar to a one-stop shop for Risk. In this context, great coordination skills are key we are the go-to people for any new needs (internal and external) and for any new gap discovered. The team is for now rather small, with young, motivated members ready to welcome you and show you the ropes
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop effective project plans under the guidance of the management
- Closely collaborate with stakeholders and management to define scope, requirements, and milestones of the project
- Ensure the progress is tracked regularly and that the management has visibility
- Identify, manage (and if necessary, escalate) dependencies, bottlenecks, and critical items.
- Ensure the readiness of contingency plans in case of blockers or deal breakers
- Manage relationships and expectations with internal and external stakeholders
- Be the go-to person for the assigned project
- Ensure the project is finalized by the deadline established (or negotiate new deadlines bringing relevant reasons)
- Carry out post-project reviews with stakeholders
Who Are We Looking For

- 3 years demonstrated ability as Project Manager or similar in banking or financial institutions (preferably with a high degree of complexity)
- Basic knowledge of Fraud in a banking/acquiring/payment institution environment
- Basic knowledge of KYC (CDD/ODD) regulations and procedures
- Proficient with AML regulations and procedures
- Good knowledge in data analysis and SQL language
- Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability of tailoring it to the audience
- Strong resilience: ability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify complexity without losing essence.
- Ability to work 100% in English
