• Position Title: Business Analyst
• Location (City/State): Bengaluru
• Reports to (Position): Project Manager

THE POSITION:

• Review, analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Preparing URS, FS, System Change document etc. as part of requirement gathering, should be familiar with relational database concepts and client-server concepts. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Performing UAT and testing of new functionalities. Delivering demos and user training to end-users. Working across geographies and time zones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting kick off workshops, documenting fit-gap analysis. Generating validation scenarios
• Conducting application demos and user training sessions
• Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Writing of Technical / Functional documents
• Manage SDLC life cycle
• Planning and monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Performing requirements analysis / collecting requirements
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 7 to 10 years of experience as a business analyst
• Exposure and experience in the Payments domain would be an added advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project planning and tracking
• Creative approach and demonstrated client focus
• Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
• Microsoft SQL experience preferred

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

• SQL
• Reading of logs
• Basic knowledge of Java
• JIRA – Confluence – SharePoint
