Key activities:

Functional Business Analyst to support the CTO Office in its ownership of corporate tools and related processes including ESS time and Planview PPM.

To include:

  • The completion of the implementation of Planview, its interaction with the existing systems and feasibility of requests for change/enhancements
  • Maintaining the documentation of the existing CTO business processes and identification of impacting processes outside of CTO
  • Liaison with CIT to understand the roadmap of impacting system changes to CTO corporate tools and processes

 Responsibilities

  • Be an authority in his area of specialization
  • Analyse the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
  • Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/service to be developed
  • Analyse and decompose complex requirements
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
  • Fulfil the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation
  • Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts
  • Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications
  • Facilitate change and configuration management
  • Monitor performance, discover variances and propose necessary actions.
  • Validate the functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications
  • Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports
  • Responsible for identifying areas of improvements and concerns in business operational areas and provide appropriate strategies to resolve them
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of performance metrics to improve business operational efficiency
  • Responsible for the analysis of business problems to identify the root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide documentation for identified problem, definition, and procedures for solving them
  • Responsible for providing optimal business solutions to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Appraise and recommend improvements to current business programs
  • Develop, revise, and enforce business policies and procedures as needed.

  • Organizational skills: You are required to have excellent organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, as well as within tight deadlines
  • Communication skills: This role involves undertaking research, developing and presenting reports; it requires great writing and verbal communication skills to effectively and convey information and develop presentations for multiple levels of the organization
  • Project management skills: The ability to manage people and process in accomplishing assigned tasks to actualize defined goals
  • Strong quantitative skills: The ability to work with large volumes of data, apply statistical tools and models
  • Analytical and investigation skills
