Job Description

We are looking for Test Environments Engineers in the Payments Domain. You will have the technical knowledge of our applications and the required infrastructure. You will also perform SW deployments and in depth technical analyze of defects for potential root cause in infrastructure. This covers SW deployments, application management, and middleware components. For issues with the underlying infrastructure (OS, DB, network, file transfer) you would collaborate with the respective technical teams.

Location: Bangalore/Pune

Relevant experience :5 to 10 years

Education: Bachelors [B.E/MCA] or equivalent

Key responsibilities:

• Coordination of operation of test environments
• Operation of the application including monitoring on stability and performance
• Deployment of SW (CICD)
• Configuration of the technical infrastructure
• Technical support during test execution
• In depth analysis of technical defects
• Ensuring the availability of the test environments for the test teams
• Continuous improvement of the test environments.
• Maintain environnement utilisation Dashboard and environnements allocation calendar

Technical Skills:

• In depth knowledge on Linux server environments
• Proficient in JIRA, Xray, Confluence, XML, shell scripts, JBOSS, Git, Maven
• Experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Knowledge in Java or Python is a plus

Functional Skills:

• Payments domain knowledge (optional)
• Basic understanding of software testing as a practice
• Soft Skills:
• Eager to learn, quick perception, can handle complex systems
• Mindset for quality
• Negotiation-fluent English
• Inter cultural competency in collaboration with European/German colleagues

Certifications:

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (optional)
