Terminals Solutions & Services (TSS) is looking for a Software Product Manager for its Android Point of Sales (POS) offer

The position of  Software Product Manager is within the TSS organization.

Since 2 years, TSS has engaged in a deep transformation program aiming at giving more value to Software for its Android Point of Sales (POS) products. AXIUM is the name of its Android Hardware product portfolio and AXIUM OS is the name of the Software platform.  

The Android Software Product Manager will be in charge of AXIUM OS, one of the key pillars of the TSS transformation.

The product manager role is as follows :

The Worldline Android product portfolio for Point of Sales (POS) products is divided into different product lines to propose a complete range of products covering all market segments. The product manager in charge of Android Software will be responsible for the management of all software components for all Android ranges.

This Android Software called “AXIUM OS” includes :

- Embedded Software :

- Firmware : Hardened Android OS (including decoding library solutions for camera scanning)

- uSDK : library implementing APIs not included in Android OS

- Payment kernels

- Service enabler : library implementing Ingenico solutions (TEM, Merchant services,…). Main enabler is DXMA (= a single deliverable (APK) that supports all Ingenico solutions on POS) :

- Software Development Kit :

- AxToolKit: Windows tool for developers & maintainers

- Sign/Kit Software Application + APK signer to sign the application with Tetra Elliptic Curve Signature

- Javadocs delivered with Android libraries

- Developer portal

- Payment Reference Design (building blocks for payment app, when available)

- Global on-terminal API: Library implementing APIs for payment integration in a 3rd party application or in a host device

Part of its missions, the PM will :

  • Lead the software evolution request process (including all-region requests)

  • Define a plan to build a market-leading Developer journey

  • Manage all the software content materials  (deliverables with the right level of quality, including Developer Portal)

  • Give more value to our Android offer while proposing more “POS opening solutions”

The mission :

The successful candidate will :

  • be the reference person within Ingenico for all Android software topics,

  • will coordinate all Android software roadmaps for each product line,

  • understand the customer needs, the competitive landscape and market forces and be able to uncover opportunities for creating new (or enhanced) solutions thanks to software development,

  • define and specify the relevant software solution,

  • be an effective communicator and champion Android software both internally and externally,

  • respond to challenges including the delivery of global business cases, marketing plans, requirements and solutions definition, and requests for proposals,

  • work closely with the engineering software team to ensure the delivery of the software components,

  • work closely with the (pre) sales, marketing, solution delivery, and support teams to ensure the software solutions are covered in an end-to-end way within the organization,

  • manage the software life cycle (product readiness, commercial readiness, operational readiness, end of life),

  • assume full responsibility for the P&L of services together with different regions.

Skills & experience : 

  • Minimum of 6 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Engineer

  • Demonstrated success in defining and managing Android Software

  • Use to work in an international environment

  • Knowledge of payment technology and industry is a plus

  • Good knowledge of business and finance concepts

  • Demonstrated success with the Software Lifecycle Management process

  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: French & English

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

  • Excellent & creative problem-solving skills

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Strong affinity for IT tools and systems

  • Good knowledge MS Office
