In this role you will be responsible for monitoring a variety of topics directly connected to the performance of the European mass-market and its development within the Payment industry. The position belongs to the Division “Regional Business”, which is responsible to develop Worldlines Mass-market segment in Europe. Footprint in +20 countries with 1bn€ in Turnover. Be a part of our European Finance community with 20+ colleagues around Europe. Our business controlling team located mainly in Bucharest, Paris and in Stockholm and are now searching for a newcomer with team spirit. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As Business Controller your main focus will be the Revenue and Contribution Margin (CM) evolution within the Mass market segment, you take the lead for analysis of the top line and profitability performance as well as ensuring high quality forecasting.
- You ensure accuracy of the Revenue and CM analysis for all entities reporting to the Regional Business. This includes the mass-merchants in Europe with various products split among several legal entities. Yearly revenue >1bnEuro.
- You handle large data input and become expert with PowerBI.
- You are able to understand market trends, merchants growth, consumer behavior, and can link it to data.
- You are the bridge between Local Finance & Sales and the CFO and CEO of Regional Business, with stakeholders in Group Finance. You bring finance input to Sales managers and bring business insight to monthly result analysis to heads of the Division “Regional Business”.
- You reports directly to the Divisions CFO and are the trust partner of the Division´s Sales and Business leaders, to support them in their vision of the monthly results
- You ensure correct forecasting of the revenue and CM during budget phases
- You follow up with reforecasting bi-weekly
- Ad hoc assignments include M&A projects, statistical reporting
Who Are We Looking For
- 5+ years of previous experience as analyst within Transactional services or as a business controller.
- Excel is your best friend, and you are a very experienced user of PowerPoint with presentation skills
- Ability to deal with large sets of data and to guide other team members in modelling exercises
- You have a Master degree in accounting, finance, business management, economics
- Solid written and verbal skills in English
