The Opportunity

The common Remote Service Platform (cRSP) is a state of the art IoT platform for medium to large scale industrial applications. Key use cases are Remote Servicing, Monitoring and File Transfer. Our platform is used by various big industrial customers to manage, audit and maintain their devices in field in a simple and secure way. The cRSP team is responsible for the development and operation of the platform and is located at the sites Konstanz (Germany), Brno (Czech Republic) and Vienna (Austria).

For the extension of our development and application maintenance network team we are looking for a high motivated Software Network Engineer (m,f,d),who shall support the development, maintenance and operation of the worldwide distributed network.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​ 

• Development of network applications (especially SSL VPN, Multiplexer and dynamic router administrations)

• Support of network system administration

• Analysis of firewalls, network and application logs

• Implementation of security administration tasks

• Controlling of firewall and switch configurations

• Communication with international distributed teams

Who Are We Looking For

Technical skills: 

• Familiar with Linux

• Deep Network Knowledge (Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP)

• Very good network coding skills in C

• Experiences with IPSec and Cisco IOS is a plus

• Experiences with TLS

Non-technical skills: 

• Willingness to corporate in international, agile teams

• Teamplayer

The team is working in an international environment thus English is essential, German is a plus.

You will work in a high motivated project team. For this a high learning capacity, strong communication skills and a high social competence are basics.
