Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
You develop solutions for our customers based on current Java technologies
You actively participate in all phases of a software development project
You support the creation of technical concepts
You design test concepts according to the specifications of the project manager
You collaborate with colleagues to find and realize optimal client solutions
Signs of success
You collaborate effectively with other developers to craft new software solutions
You develop test concepts that prove the quality of our product
You examine existing code, identifying flaws and building solutions to improve
You help complete full software development processes for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations
Skills we can’t do without:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or another related field
Sophisticated programming experience in the programming language Java as well as website development with Angular, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript/Typescript
Expertise in handling of Java frameworks (AngularJS, Hibernate, JSF/Rich Faces/Prime Faces or ADF, CSS, HTML5, XML)
Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and/or SQL Server
Experience in debugging or remote debugging of Java applications
Validated ability to document design processes, including development, tests, analytics, and solving problems
Fluency in English
Skills we’d like:
Experience in programming and performing developer tests and experience with test automation
Practical experience with version control systems (e. g. Git, Subversion)
Profound knowledge of agile methods (e. g. Scrum, Kanban)
Wish to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities
