Key Account Manager - Payment Industry

As a key account manager, you are responsible for the support and further development of the strategic key account assigned to you in the payment industry (in card-based and non-card-based payment transactions) in Switzerland. Based on the growth strategies of Worldline Financial Services, you open up new sales potential and form the main interface to decision-makers as well as key contacts on the customer side. You will work in a European team based in Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich.

The area of responsibility includes the following activities:

  • Establishing and maintaining long-term, trusting customer relationships with decision-makers in upper and middle management
  • Development and control of sales activities within the framework of the overall company guidelines and close cooperation with senior management at European level
  • Regular analyzes of the customer portfolio let you identify potentials and the resulting opportunities as well as develop new / additional business
  • Organization and implementation of regular advisory and sales meetings; In the course of this activity, you are responsible for incoming orders and sales for the assigned customers
  • Preparation of offers within the framework of group specifications and active participation in the drafting of contracts and responsibility for sales reporting
  • Actively helping to craft and optimize price strategies as well as service offers
  • You will develop and gain in-depth knowledge of our competitors, the company's product portfolio and the market trends within the payment industry
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with other departments, stakeholders and senior management

The requirements are as follows:

  • Completed bachelor's degree (or FH) in the field of economics or computer science / business informatics (or comparable degree)
  • There are strengths in consultative selling based on a high degree of independent action and results-oriented thinking
  • Proven sales success in the senior sales environment
  • Extensive knowledge and / or experience in cashless payments
  • Ideally an existing branch network
  • Intercultural competence and corresponding experience in international cooperation
  • Strong communication skills and high customer orientation
  • Fluent German and your English is business proficient
